Sherwood Young Sr. Ph.D. is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Keeping HR Real Inc. With over 25 years of professional experience, Dr. Young has extensive knowledge of every area of human resources. He has worked to develop several HR start-ups for small and large companies. He successfully directed HR functions for over 12 sites which served over 40,000 employees.

Dr. Young also served his country for over 20 years in the United States Navy as a Regional Human Resources Director. Throughout his career Dr. Young has been the recipient of numerous excellence awards in recognition for his successful employee relations and retention programs. In recognition of his professional excellence, he was awarded a special commendation by President Bill Clinton.

Dr. Sherwood Young sits on the Triangle United Way board of directors in Raleigh, NC. He is also Chairman of Employment Solutions Inc./BAC board of Directors in Jacksonville, NC. Recognized as a distingued human resources professional Dr. Young was inducted into Manchester's Who's Who registry.
As a dynamic motivational speaker Dr. Young has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars. He specializes in Strategic Planning, Workplace Safety, Compensation, New Start-ups, Organizational Development. He is certified by OSHA as a safety trainer (501/General Industry) and is Six Sigma certified.
